Digital access is high; tolerance for friction is not
Internetstiftelsen reported that 97% of Swedes used the internet in 2025. The same research found that difficult digital services can cause people to abandon important actions, and that more than half of AI users sometimes ask an AI tool instead of a search engine. [1]
For a small service business, that creates two requirements. The page must work for a person arriving directly, and its core facts must be explicit enough to be understood when search or an AI answer extracts a short passage. Clever wording should never hide the actual service, location or next step.
Accessibility and stability are part of credibility
PTS measured 576 Swedish websites across public and private sectors in 2025 and found accessibility shortcomings in every examined sector. PTS also notes that automated measurement does not capture every problem in language, comprehension and information structure. [2]
Google describes Core Web Vitals as real-world measures of loading, responsiveness and visual stability. Its current reference thresholds are LCP within 2.5 seconds, INP below 200 milliseconds and CLS below 0.1. These are useful diagnostic targets, but a perfect score cannot compensate for an unclear offer. [3]
Trust information should be easy to find
Show the business name, a working contact route, service area and the evidence a customer needs to judge the offer. If the site forms distance contracts with consumers or provides e-commerce, additional Swedish information requirements may apply; Konsumentverket lists business identity and contact information among the details that must be clear before a contract. [4]
Do not copy an e-commerce legal checklist onto a lead-generation site without checking whether it applies. The useful general principle is simpler: the visitor should be able to identify who is behind the offer and how to reach them before submitting personal information or paying.
